Tabasco: Benny Goodman

Tabasco’s first release on ljud.org is a tribute to the king of swing, mr Benny Goodman. Tabasco invites you to the little little room all the way down in the basement: pine panel walls posters from Hula beach serving as backdrop to that old Meccano just standing there. In the midst of all this – an echo from bygone times, between the wars, after the crash, when women women and men were men and drove a Buick – filtered through six pairs of nylon strings wrapped upon tender bodies of glued wood, singing songs of angels.

I like the ukulele and Benny Goodman thanks for putting the peanut butter in the chocolate, or was it the other way around? Fun stuff to listen to. I would love to hear Sing, sing, on the ukulele.
